Hey caledfwelsh!
I think Your Final Hour is great!!! I love the mood it has! I have a suggestion: If you're looking for a more orchestral vibe to the song, you can try the Sonatina Symphony soundfonts. The .sf2 files aren't on the website anymore, but you can find them on Archive.org by googling Sonatina Symphony soundfont. I like it, and I'm excited to hear the final product!!

dbnet18 I cannot use soundfonts in my program! at least i dont know how to... oof... The program i use is Sequel by Steinburg and does not allow the use of soundfonts that i know of...? Idk I can mess around with the effects and make it sound orchestral. Just gotta screw around with equalizers and stuff

caledfwelsh can you put VST or VSTi plugins in Sequel? I know there are a bunch of soundfont plugins out there on the internet.

Nevermind i have learned that i cannot use free instruments in my program. It fucks it up royally. This is a program my dad spent a year looking for and it took an arm and a leg to get in installed so i dont wanna risk fucking it up ^^;;;; If it doesnt sound "real" enough i can mess around with equalizers and wavelengths to make it sound like it. Thanks for the suggestion though it was really thoughtful

oh and i almost forgot, i could super use instrument recommendations for that song. it's supposed to be frog/skaia-themed! I won't be able to import vsts into soundation, but I'll probably be able to find something close if you give me an example.

Nice!!!!! It might run a little long? I feel like I want to hear a more complex drum beat or a key shift come in somewhere. But it's so cool, I love the core melody in here, it's unusual in good way and I think the tone fits the whole post-retcon vibe exactly. Something about it is just right, can't quite put my finger on it. I think a more experienced musician could probably give better feedback than me, but I'm still so Pumped to hear this stuff I tracked down some good public domain frog recordings last night, so hopefully I can give Something Worth Doing a sort of lofaf-vibe.

Oh no, I'm sorry you lost the original file! Making music seems like a path fraught with peril and hidden pitfalls. My hat is off to you bold audio adventurers.
